For us photography is more than capturing a moment, it is creating a story that says this is what I love, this is what is important to me.

Whose Behind the Camera?
Ella is the leading force behind Ella Gagiano Studios. A photographer for over twenty years she has crafted her art traveling the word as a luxury photographer. She has found passion in genuine heartfelt souls and passionate people who love life and want to celebrate it.
She’s found photography to be more than just capturing of moments but the art of capturing ones soul; showing her clients the beauty in life and allowing them to not only celebrate and honor what they love, but to be reminded of it and empowered by it.
We know that our clients are more than the way they look, it’s the way the carry themselves and not only who they are but who they want to be. She has founded her photography studio on the principle that capturing her clients from the eyes of a loved one and allowing our clients to be seen for all they are is why so many people feel the passion, love, and life in her work.
For Ella her own joy in life comes from simple joys. She grew up in South Africa on a farm, where she spent her days with all her farm animals that she loved dearly and her afternoons running barefoot through the mountains. While distance and time has changed, Ella’s love of animals and freedom has not. She has found home in Kentucky where she has eighteen mini donkeys, two horses and three dogs, and is always adding on as she loves her furbabies.
Her strength and determination has led her to build an amazing community full of strong women that lift each other up and empower each other in ways she never could have dreamed of.
Our Studio Manager
Sammi has been a part of Ella’s team for nearly a decade, starting off as her videographer and editor, and over the years becoming so involved in the studio’s process that she is now often referred to by clients as their therapist.
Sammi is Ella’s right hand, and we are often told how our clients need a Sammi in their life.
Officially, Sammi is our designated studio manager, but she does far more than just that. She brings her own unique chemistry to the entire studio atmosphere.
Creativity and understanding is the core of who she is. In her spare time she writes, draws, paints, and helps out on Ella’s farm. She has her own fur baby Charlie that is spoiled rotten and is best friends with Ella’s fur baby. She also has four mini goats, two pigs, and chickens that live on Ella’s farm. She studied anthropology and film in college and wanted to tell others stories. What started out as a part-time college job turned into the perfect dream job where she could build authentic relationships and make change and tell stories in a deeper way. She loves nothing more than the moment when our clients finally see their photos, the excitement and joy that our clients experience is something we wish every single person could experience.
Between Ella and Sammi, there is nothing we can’t accomplish in our studio.
Together our biggest passion is getting to know our clients one on one and creating fun, easy-going, and stress-free experiences. We are here to make you feel confident and proud so you can carry it with you even long after your photoshoot.
