Feeling anxious about yourself and not loving the way you look?

Wanting to be more confident in yourself is something that almost every person struggles with. How many times have you made the decision not to do something solely based on how you felt about your body? Decide to not go swimming with friends, or wear a dress that you loved because you were worried it showed off the “wrong” parts, didn’t ask someone out as you thought you weren’t good enough?

These are things that hold you back in life, keep you from feeling happy and free. Feeling confident is something many people struggle with and it’s a learning curve to rewire your brain to see all the positives in yourself, but it is possible to do, you just need to kick start the process and see how loved you are and how others see you and how you can see yourself!

A boudoir Photoshoot probably feels like the furthest thing from your mind when you are feeling insecure, but we have had many many women in our studio who feel anxious about parts of themselves and leave saying they are now no longer want to hide those parts of themself away.

How often do you really look at yourself when you are generally happy with joy? Do you ever get to see your eyes light up, do you get to see the confidence you carry as you are in the middle of a task you’ve done a million times that feels easy, but others look at you like you have it all figured out? You only look at yourself when you are looking for flaws, how often do you look in the mirror and look at your beauty?

This is the work that happens before your photoshoot even begins, because once you do a boudoir session it all comes together beautifully. You will feel so comfortable in front of the camera ready to be yourself and that is where the magic begins.
